Functional Area Diploma (FAD)

XLRI offers a Functional Area Diploma (FAD) programme in Business Management. Upon completion of which, candidates are conferred with Functional Area Diploma (FAD). This programme is extremely prestigious and is rated as one of the finest of its kind.

The courses are designed to develop,

1. the analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities,
2. the awareness of the socio-economic environment, and
3. the personality with socially desirable values and attitudes. Towards these objectives and to suit the contents of each course, a variety of teaching methodologies, such as case studies, role-play, problem solving exercises, group discussion are used in the programme.

Each full credit course implies a total of 30 contact hours. To fulfill the requirement of area(s) of concentration, a participant is required to do an equivalent of six full credit electives.
